Building off the existing fruit tree network along the Arbutus Greenway, this project establishes an urban orchard condition and adjoined natural winery in the heart of Kitsilano. Aimed to grow the already strong community gardening initiatives, the urban orchard and winery provide accessible opportunities for locals to become more involved in the community and the production of farm-to-table goods. The Shed, an indoor-outdoor mixed-use building, serves as the central gathering space of this project, hosting flexible programming allowing for year-round use.
